Like their post-hardcore brethren, Robust Android moves between dry guitar meddling, splashy breakdowns and math rock sections. This slice of life view into their debut album shows an instrumental band that has their head on straight. The dry guitar of Nick Brown leads the pack through a series of smart melodies and open spaces to create tracks that are unusually refreshing.
Recommended to fans of Ten Grand, Drive Like Jehu, Fugazi, and the like.
